Action
The 2 per cent shortfall is concentrated in North Darfur and
is due to attacks by movements that have not signed the
Darfur Peace Agreement. This is confirmed in a joint report
by the World Food Programme, the World Health
Organization, UNICEF, the Ministry of Health and the
Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, published in 2007. The
Government of the Sudan shall endeavour to make up for
this shortfall.
