Also notes that: (a) The first and fifth recommendations have been addressed in the context of Council resolution 12/7 of 1 October 2009 and Council decision 12/117, also of 1 October 2009, respectively, while the second and third recommendations have been addressed in draft resolutions A/HRC/13/L.22 and A/HRC/13/L.17, respectively; (b) The fourth recommendation, regarding the human rights of older persons, may be addressed in the context of the work of the Council at its future sessions; (c) As recommended by the Advisory Committee, the participation of an expert of the Committee in the second expert consultation on the issue of protection of the human rights of civilians in armed conflict, convened in accordance with Council resolution 12/5 of 1 October 2009, is welcomed. It is my understanding that, after consulting with Member States, this procedure does not set any precedent for the future reports of the Advisory Committee, which will be dealt with in accordance with Council resolution 5/1.” 82
