At the 22nd meeting, on 24 September, the representative of South Africa (on behalf of the African Group) introduced draft resolution A/HRC/9/L.24, sponsored by South Africa (on behalf of the African Group) and co-sponsored by Cuba and Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of). 219. Subsequently, Bolivia, Colombia, Nicaragua and Uruguay joined the sponsors. 220. In accordance with rule 153 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, the attention of the Council was drawn to the estimated administrative and programme budget implications of the draft resolution. 221.
