At its 26th meeting, on 17 June 2009, the Council held a general debate on agenda item 10, during which the following made statements: (a) Representatives of States Members of the Council: Brazil, Czech Republic1 (on behalf of the European Union, Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, the Republic of Moldova, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey and Ukraine); (b) Representative of an observer State: United States of America; (c) Observer for a non-governmental organization: Arab Commission for Human Rights.
