Integration has provided a wealth of good practices that could constitute a starting point for developing inclusive education systems. International cooperation has contributed to this process. The recognition of inclusive education systems as a priority in the High-level Meeting on Disability and Development can contribute to further strengthening the process through the adoption of an inclusive education goal with adequate targets and indicators for the post-2015 development agenda. 18
