The report is a summary of proceedings and the discussions which took place during the third session of Ad Hoc Committee on the Elaboration of Complementary Standards. After consultations and facilitation to identify issues to be considered by the Committee, preliminary substantive discussions took place on “Xenophobia” and “Establishment, Designation or Maintaining of National Mechanisms with Competences to Protect Against and Prevent All Forms and Manifestations of Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance”, in view of more comprehensive discussions on these topics and other issues during the fourth session of the Ad Hoc Committee on the Elaboration of Complementary Standards. * Late submission.
