At the same meeting, the panellists of the first panel answered questions and made their concluding remarks. 79. At the 13th meeting, on 28 June 2019, the Council held the second panel discussion on the theme “The rights of older women and their economic empowerment”. 80. The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights made an opening statement for the panel. The Director of the United Nations Population Fund Office in Geneva, Mónica Ferro, moderated the discussion. 81. At the same meeting, the following panellists made statements: the Senior Advisor to Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign, Stephen Lewis Foundation, Idah Nambeya; the Professor of International Law, University of New South Wales, Andrew Byrnes, and the member of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, Marion Bethel. 82. The ensuing panel discussion was divided into two slots, which were held at the same meeting, on the same day.
