Information from sources
66.
No information was received from sources regarding outstanding cases.
Discontinued cases
67. Over the years, the Working Group has made numerous attempts to contact the source of
the two outstanding cases, but to no avail. The Working Group decided, in accordance with its
methods of work, exceptionally to discontinue consideration of two cases. The Working Group
believes that it no longer has a useful role to play in trying to elucidate the whereabouts of the
persons concerned, as no follow-up can be given to the cases. They can be reopened at any time
if they are presented again to the Working Group.
Total cases transmitted, clarified and outstanding
68. In previous years and during the year under review, the Working Group transmitted two
cases to the Government. Both cases were discontinued in the period under review. There are no
outstanding cases.
