Summary
The present report is divided into two sections. In the first, the independent expert
presents a summary of the answers to the questionnaire on human rights and international
solidarity sent to States, United Nations departments and bodies, specialized agencies, other
international organizations, non-governmental organizations and special procedures
mandate holders of the Human Rights Council. In the second, the expert identifies salient

solidarity, drawing from the above responses and his review and observations, and
highlights significant areas of focus and emerging approaches in international cooperation.
