A/HRC/36/37 2. Opinions of the Working Group 9. Pursuant to its methods of work (A/HRC/33/66), in addressing its opinions to Governments, the Working Group drew their attention to Commission on Human Rights resolutions 1997/50 and 2003/31 and Human Rights Council resolutions 6/4, 24/7 and 33/30, by which those bodies requested them to take account of the Working Group’s opinions and, where necessary, to take appropriate steps to remedy the situation of persons arbitrarily deprived of their liberty and to inform the Working Group of the steps they have taken. On the expiry of a 48-hour deadline, the opinions were transmitted to the relevant sources. 4
