At the 2nd meeting, held on 23 December 2010, the representative of Nigeria, on
behalf of the Group of African States, introduced draft resolution A/HRC/S-14/L.1,
sponsored by Nigeria on behalf of the Group of African States. Subsequently, Australia,
Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, the Czech Republic,
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia,
Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland joined the sponsors.
18.
At the same meeting, the representative of Nigeria made oral revisions to the draft
resolution.
