Legal Awareness Project “I HAVE A RIGHT” The Ministry of Justice implements All-Ukrainian Legal Awareness Project “I HAVE A RIGHT!” as a huge legal awareness component to provide access to justice for everyone. The Project covers more than 14 million people with more than 800 000 legal awareness events performed and 12 million information materials distributed. There is significant increase in the citizens’ awareness of their rights (up to more than 20% if compared to 2016), and by 10% - the proportion of citizens who are ready to defend their rights. Key success factors: • well-established communication with civil society (participation of human rights NGOs in project with more than 27 thousand partners involved); • strategic planning for informational campaigns; • deep cooperation with stakeholders; • mixed formats of communication with target audience; • the modular structure of legal awareness campaigns; • international partner`s support; • orientation on people’s needs; • non-standard educational solutions. Among the latest international recognitions, Ukrainian free legal aid system received a bright appreciation during World Justice Forum held on April 30, 2019 in Hague, Netherlands. The Government of Ukraine is committed to pursue the development of national legal aid system and promote the protection of human rights of all citizens residing in Ukraine”. 2.
