The Board continues to emphasize the importance of ensuring increased and sustainable contributions to OHCHR, the Voluntary Fund for Technical Cooperation in the Field of Human Rights and the Voluntary Fund for Financial and Technical Assistance in the Implementation of the Universal Periodic Review. The Board has been participating in the context of its mandate in a number of fundraising efforts by OHCHR in the regions it has visited and very much hopes that in 2018 the financial capacities of the Office continue to grow, in order to be able to respond to the current challenges around and across all regions. 14
