Thematic reports Independence of judges and lawyers/Contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance 15. At the 1st meeting, on 11 June 2007, Mr. Leandro Despouy, Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers, presented his report (A/HRC/4/25 and Add.1-3). At the same meeting, Mr. Doudou Diène, Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, presented his reports (A/HRC/4/19/Add.1 and 3 and A/HRC/5/10). 16. At the same meeting, the observers for the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Maldives made statements, as concerned countries, on the relevant mission reports presented by Mr. Despouy, and the representative of the Russian Federation made a statement, as a concerned country, on the report presented by Mr. Diène. 17.
