With reference to Human Rights Council resolution 30/33, and in order to allow the Working Group to fulfil its mandate in an effective and sustainable manner, the Working Group encourages Member States to continue to provide it with the necessary human and material resources. 66. The Working Group calls upon the States concerned to take appropriate measures to prevent acts of reprisals against individuals who have been the subject of an urgent appeal or opinion or whose cases have brought about a recommendation of the Working Group, and to combat impunity by bringing perpetrators to justice and by providing victims with appropriate remedies. 22
