Accepted in part Remark Freedom of association is inscribed in Viet Nam’s Constitution and relevant laws, in line with the ICCPR and the country’s circumstances. Endeavours to implement this recommendation, including the process for reviewing current regulations and drafting a law on association will remain in that direction. The accepted element of the recommendation is “Ensure full implementation of its international human rights obligations regarding freedom of religion and belief”. The 2016 Law on Belief and Religion is compatible with international human rights 9
