At the 8th meeting, on 12 September, the Special Rapporteur on the adverse effects of the illicit movement and dumping of toxic and dangerous products and wastes on the enjoyment of human rights, Okechukwu Ibeanu, made a statement. 17. At the same meeting the representative of Côte d’Ivoire, as the main sponsor of the resolution related to the mandate of the Special Rapporteur, made a statement. 18. At the 10th meeting, on 15 September, the representative of South Africa (on behalf of the African Group), as the main sponsor of the resolution related to the mandate of the Working Group on People of African Descent, made a statement. 21. At the same meeting, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Sudan, Sima Samar, made a statement, on behalf of a member of the Working Group. 22.
