As requested in that resolution, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights organized a two-day meeting on 7 and 8 May 2019 in Geneva to discuss good practices, gaps and challenges in the application of a human rights-based approach to the implementation of policies and programmes to reduce preventable maternal mortality and morbidity in humanitarian settings. The present report is a summary of the discussions which took place at that meeting. * Agreement was reached to publish the present report after the standard publication date owing to circumstances beyond the submitter’s control.
