A/HRC/25/39 38. In conclusion, the Syrian Arab Republic welcomed the report of the fact-finding mission and commended the efforts to seek the truth in an independent, apolitical and impartial manner. It also expressed its willingness to cooperate by furthering the implementation of the recommendations outlined by the mission in its report in order to end Israeli violations of the Palestinian people. Finally, the Syrian Arab Republic urged that serious measures be taken to end the occupation of all Arab territories occupied since 1967. 9
