At the 29th meeting, on 18 June 2009, the representative of the Russian Federation introduced draft resolution A/HRC/11/L.1, sponsored by the Russian Federation and co-sponsored by Singapore, Sri Lanka and Viet Nam. 755. At the same meeting, at the request of the representative of the Russian Federation, the draft resolution was deferred for consideration by the Council at its twelfth session.
