A/HRC/9/10 page 2 Summary The present report is submitted in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 6/3, which requested the independent expert on human rights and international solidarity to continue his work on the preparation of a draft declaration on the right of peoples and individuals to international solidarity and to submit a report on the implementation of that resolution at its ninth session. The present report is divided into two sections. In the first section, the independent expert continues to focus on international cooperation, and in the second, outlines steps that will be taken to prepare a draft declaration on the right of peoples and individuals to international solidarity.
