Extension of mandates and mandated activities At its 34th meeting, on 13 March 2020, the Human Rights Council decided to adopt the text below: “The Human Rights Council, Noting the measures taken by the host country, Switzerland, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and the assessments made by the World Health Organization, the United Nations Office at Geneva and the secretariat of the Human Rights Council, Recalling that, on 12 March 2020, the Human Rights Council decided to suspend its forty-third session on 13 March until further notice, Recalling also that all resolutions and decisions that were tabled prior to 1 p.m. on 13 March 2020 will be acted upon by the Human Rights Council when it resumes its forty-third session, Decides to extend all mandates and mandated activities, as described in the supplementary information relating to the three-year programme of work for 20202022 and that would otherwise expire, until the date on which they can be considered by the Human Rights Council when it resumes its forty-third session.” [Adopted without a vote.] GE.20-04017(E) 
