Initiatives to combat the human rights violations described in Human Rights Council resolution 10/22 include measures in the constitutional and legislative areas, in the areas of law enforcement and the administration of justice (including access hereto), policy measures, prejudice-reduction programmes for key professionals (including the media), intercultural dialogue and awareness-raising initiatives, as well as the creation of specialized bodies at the national level or the establishment of focal points within existing national human rights institutions to monitor trends and/or assist victims.
